Nails are Glue

My husband and I went on a date. Yeah we really did! After having a lovely dinner with two other couples consisting of a liquid red Christmas ingestible that could have fueled a rocket booster, Italian salad, baked ziti, and marbled fudge bars with coffee (to help sober me back up), my husband and I ventured for a night in town. We landed at the Radio Music Theater and watched a slightly musical play called A Fertle Holiday. I laughed my a$$ off tonight harder than I have in a long time. The play consisted of 13 characters played by only three actors that successfully changed roles without affecting any of the timing.

The play reminded me of the older SNL 80s humor. One of the actors had created film shorts for SNL in the past and the Radio Music Theater had been featured on SNL too back in the 80s. It is difficult to find this kind of funny anymore. The play brought me back to another time when funny wasn't so hard to find.

"Nails are Glue" is just a line from the play that stands out which represents the bull$h!t we have all tried to pass over on relatives before.

The Fertile Christmas show is legendary (and long-running). I went many years ago and it was very funny. The same company does other shows featuring the Fertile family.
