The Yucks Have Us
Within the last 24 hours I've been barfed on, peed on, and dealt with many goosome poos by the baby. Baby Boosky also decided that she needed to let me know all last night how she felt. Now my 5 year old is sick with a tummy ache and fever too. He managed to take a nap and wet his bed. My 7 year old is just fine and wants to do stuff and decides she has to rely on me for entertainment since we are unable to leave the house.
Here is one of our exchanges as I long for a comfy pillow.
7 year old begins, "Cows have four stomachs."
I reply, "I think they have one stomach with four chambers. They also chew their cud."
7 year old then asks, "Mama, how many stomachs do you have?"
"One."
She returns, " Oh, I was just wandering because you eat so much."
This doesn't make me feel very good. I have been eating more than my share lately. I also missed my running of the dog last night, since my husband didn't get home until after 11 pm. I can't exactly leave these kids alone to go run. I feel like yuck, and I am well.
