I Can't Believe It

I can't believe my daughter didn't win the costume contest this year. She was perfect! Many at the party were asking her "Did you win?" They asked, because she should have won. Her Jawa eyes were wired with orange LEDs hot glue gunned to eye glasses behind a black cloth face covering. Her homemade ammunition belts were perfect. Her robe was perfect ( thank you Hope ) and her shoes were tattered with the same brown fabric glue gunned on old running shoes. She even had the black mittens. She was the perfect Jawa. There was no mistaking what she was or how cool she was.

What outfit won? A Party City store bought Made in China Spiderella costume. I couldn't believe it! Certainly that get-up was NOT worthy of winning! Maybe the judges were French. Jessica did learn from this though. From all the comments she got at the party, she knew the had the better costume.
