Jeep For Sale Cheap

Well the Jeep finally kicked the bucket. It is a little emotional for me as I've had it nearly half my life and I know that I'll probably never have another. Part of my youth is leaving me. It will probably be restored. The restoration for me would cost too much money, but for the Jeep collector that knows how to go about fixing it up, this restoration should not be a problem.

The service center wanted $5400 to replace the engine. After holding out a few days, they finally said that they could probably work it to $3900. That is about $1900 more than I am willing to pay for a twice-wrecked 15 year-old vehicle. So, we now have to find a buyer and then find another vehicle.

What to buy? What to buy? It would be nice to seat my little family of five plus my mother and a brother that might consider the occasional ride to Longview if he could sleep the drive. That makes at least seven seats and we'll need another seat to accomodate the luggage overflow due to my mother's over-sized suitcase.

I guess that leaves the suburban or 15 passenger van (hey I've got friends that drive these... ha ha ha). I dread car shopping. I think I'll just go ahead and make life easier on myslef by bringing the tub of vaseline with me so it doesn't hurt so bad. Be expecting a post on the new used vehicle soon.
