Knock Knock Knock

The Mormons knocked on my door today. It was very tempting to tear their faith to shreds, but I let it be. My husband has been collecting numerous texts on church history and formation in hopes of ultimately converting me to Catholicism. I've got enough ammunition over here to blast a Mormon off his bike.

I get a little sick of the elders in the Mormon faith sending 19 year old boys off to do their work. I'm sick of human pawns I guess. It's just another nasty scheme.

And you didn't let 'em have it? Awwww! You're no fun! That said, most Mormons, like Jehovah's Witnesses, have been trained to at least have a cursory response to the typical objections - enough to get someone with "just enough info to be dangerous" to back down. When it comes down to it, though, it's really whether you think Joseph Smith was hallucinating or if the angel Moroni was for real. In any event, the archaeological evidence is really against (or, at the very least, non-supporting but not necessarily refuting) the "history" of the plates which became the Book of Mormon.

I meant to ask you today - what sorts of church history resources is he getting his hands on?
